Reshaping Your Body and fat burning by strength training: Part 1

As a woman, I have never hesitated to enter into a free weights room, contains a set 25-pound dumbbell, Sale is right in the center of the dimly lit room and just start lifting. No matter what I have looked all around me (95% men). My goal is to get my muscles pumped, leaving the room with a firm body and we are proud of the discipline I've developed over the years. It is a solo sport and many can not take the repetitive motion of the chosen path, but for those few who have, which is a very rewarding path to take. Very gratifying.

What exactly is strength training? According to Wikipedia, is "the use of resistance to muscular contraction to build the strength, anaerobic endurance and size of skeletal muscles. "Basically, this means that when lifting, your muscles will get stronger and grow in size. How much they grow depends on a number of factors such as how heavy to lift, how often stands in a week, how well you plan your diet and More importantly, how much rest you get.

How does a muscle grow bigger? When lifting a weight that the body is not used to create and muscle contractions, causing microscopic tears (microtrauma) to the muscle fibers. When this happens, the body repairs within 1-3 days by adding more fiber to await another traumatic "weight training session. The result is known as hypertrophy. During the repair phase, is essential to consume enough nutrients as whole proteins and carbohydrates (simple and complex) to accelerate the process of healing and growth. Training without Good nutrition is not getting the results you want.

The beauty of strength training is its ability to shape your body according to your goals and desires within their genetic limit, of course. Why you want to get into weight training?

Here are some common reasons:

1. To develop the overall strength
2. For now flabby body parts (for most women: bat wings and thighs)
3. To help the perfomance of an athlete in their chosen sport
4. To help with fat loss
5. To boost confidence
6. To add enough muscle tone without look like a bodybuilder
7. To be a bodybuilder
8. On medical grounds (physical)

There are many other reasons but the above are almost 8 general reasons to pick up a dumbell. It is usually easier to convince a man to start training with weights of what is a woman. Why? Because many women have been fed the idea that lifting weights will cause them to hypertrophy beyond recognition. The most common response even hear is "Oh, I do not lift weights because I do not want to grow big muscles. "

This is a myth that has been around for many years and has been passed from generation generation. The truth is that women do not have enough growth hormone (testosterone) that are required to build muscle mass that man is capable of. the woman's ovaries and adrenal glands produce only about one-seventh of the amount of testosterone that men do. Biologically and chemically, is virtually impossible for women to achieve even a third of the strength and muscle development that men possess. So why do women have big bodybuilders muscle development?

Many of these women have a genetic exceptional ability to develop their bodies as they have. Even then, with a strict diet and hard training, they can never equal the level of their male counterparts. For many female bodybuilders look like men, have resorted to the ingestion of steroids, which are basically testosterone to improve their energy development in an unnatural way. These women will eventually develop facial hair, enlarged voice box and aggression.

For the rest of us, strength training will give us the sexy curves and how do we see women we see in fitness magazines. For men, having a set six pack abs visible not only protect you from cardiovascular disease are many associated with excess belly fat, as a bonus, also aesthetically nice. Ladies love their men sexy abs!
