How do I add strength training to my weekly workout schedule?

I am joining a fitness club and need some advice! Am "5'2, an average of 97 pounds, and especially going to the gym for my heart health and increase my endurance. So far, I am committing to weekly yoga, spinning class for beginners, and a switch from another machine and elliptical stairmaster day every day. Should I add strength training into my week? If so, what kind? Also, is there anything I should change / doing wrong with what I'm committing to?

I say about 2 three times a week but only about 15-20 minutes the value of training. You can do this in the comfort of your own home. This is how I have mine with four children is difficult out sometimes.
