When talk turns to routines of the most effective force training exercise, the conversation usually includes some variation of the squat exercise, deadweight, bench press or parallel bar dip; and tilt-in line or chin. Why? Simply, these exercises have proven muscle builders, as evidenced by Paul Anderson, Marvin Eder and Doug Hepburn – three of the strongest men to ever walk the planet.
But wait. Know the best training exercises might not necessarily lead to best strength training routines. effective strength training exercise routines – the types of routines that always deliver on their promise of building muscle – are more than a collection of exercises …
The best weight training routines should also achieve balance in your size, frequency and intensity. It is this balance that distinguishes the failure of successful strength training.
No Squats for 30 days
For the typical student, the strength training routines are carried out 2-3 times a week for several groups. However, the story I'm about to share with you, the landfills of this protocol on its head.
For our history, we must return to the summer of 1997. In mid-July to mid-October, Staplin Dave and his training partner increased their squat and deadlift poundages 49% and 70% respectively. By protocol repeated standard 2 seconds concentric (Funds) and 4 seconds eccentric (lowering), finished their sets when no more repetitions, the number complete as possible. His routine of strength training consisted of only two sets per exercise every 7 days.
In early November, Dave and his experienced partner two consecutive workouts without further progress in any joint. It then took 23 days off. When later returned to the gym, they were able addition of 10% for the squat exercise for the same number of repetitions as your previous training – and had not done squat for 30 days!
How is this possible?
For our answer, we must look at the importance of the income of high intensity anaerobic exercise.
While many understand the intensity when you play a key part of strength training, many more to underestimate the crucial role recovery plays in building muscle and strength proportionately.
In Summary
There is an old saying that goes, good things come in small packages. I'm here to tell you that this saying is true, particularly in the realm of routine training exercise of force.
