I tried using the summit trainer a couple of times and it doesnt feel like cardio i feel like i’m working my muscles. I was wondering if exercising on a summit trainer is considered cardio or weights? are summit trainers better than elliptical trainers?
it would depend on a couple of things…
first off how long u can maintain training on it…….
cardio is somthing that can be maintained for aT LEAST 30 minutes and benifit the The blood, heart, Lungs ,and blood vessels form the cardiovascular system…..
the summit looks like it would really work ur leg muscles…
never used a summit. but thats the easiest way to determin if its somthun for cardio…can u maintain it for 30 minutes. ..
or u could do a circut..do like 5 mins on treadmill, 5 mins on exercise bike, then 5 mins on the summit trainer……..
then rest say 3 mins and repeat all circuits thatd be a good workout
